I am one of Dr. Hair’s first generation RIT students from 2001. I wanted to put few lines in and get a closure on that tough International Marketing class back in days and never received DVD with all those cool ads from around the world (only reason I stayed in class instead of bailing out with grade W). Anyway, after couple of papers of 50 some pages and final one of over 100+ and those famous 35 references (made my arms longer carrying them from and to library) I came here to check out the site and see what’s been happening in last decade and I am glad to see that at least one of those cool ads is posted here. Feels great! And boy am I happy now to know that I was student back then instead of now, seeing all these expectations that are being thrown at current students…the best prerequisities for Dr. Hair’s class is to take about five computer classes (web page design and internet a must) and as many overseas trips in each direction of the globe and you should feel confident of surviving the ride at COB and be a part of tiger’s tale. At the end, a message for professor himself: keep on the pressure Mate, and teach the next generations of businessmen/businesswomen to adhere more to the ethics, honesty and integrity of business dealings because most of todays companies out there in the “sharks’ world” are teaching/training new “out-of-college rookies” to be greedy in order to optimize the profits and are pushing ethics aside. A question some may ask themselves at one point in their lives in Shakespeare’s way: “To be honest, or to be successful…that is the question?”.
Keep your dignity, because it is the only thing no one can buy off of you and the only thing that enables you to look in everyones eyes without the shame no matter in what part of world you are throughout your life!
